Zed Rengel received a BSc in Biology and an MSc in Cell Biology from the University of Zagreb. He completed his PhD in agronomy and botany at the Louisiana State University and a Doctor Honoris Causa at Zagreb University. He is a Professor of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition at the University of Western Australia. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Crop & Pasture Science. He works on soil-plant interactions.
