Sylvester Oikeh is an experienced strategic leader with a 30-year track record in research and development, including 15 years in senior management roles at universities and prominent international research institutions. He specializes in driving agricultural transformation to enhance food and nutrition security and is proficient in managing complex projects, steering teams, and building partnerships. Sylvester successfully developed and deployed climate-smart solutions, such as drought-tolerant maize hybrids in Africa’s most successful public-private partnership. Over the years, Sylvester secured over USD 143 million in grants and funding through 18 proposals and published over 100 contributions in scientific journals, proceedings, books, and chapters.
