Sylvester successfully developed and deployed climate-smart solutions, such as drought-tolerant maize hybrids in Africa’s most successful public-private partnership. Over the years, Sylvester secured over USD 143 million in grants and funding through 18 proposals and published over 100 contributions in scientific journals, proceedings, books, and chapters.
